Wiz-ePay 3D-Secure MPI is Certified as JCB J/Secure™
Compliant by JCB International

Singapore, March 8, 2004 – WizVision today announced the certification
of the Wiz-ePay 3D-Secure MPI product as JCB J/Secure™
compliant by JCB.
JCB International had announced
the launch of its new internet authentication program, J/SecureTM
in November 2003. Compliant with the 3-D Secure™ protocol,
the new program adds an important password identification step to
the traditional online shopping process, verifying the identity of
the person entering the card information. 3-D Secure™
is a new model of authentication technology, designed to enhance and
validate payments made through the Internet, through Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) encryption. This model of payment authentication
isolates the responsibilities of the various participants associated
within a payment transaction cycle into 3 different domains – Issuer
Domain, Acquirer Domain and Interoperability Domain.
JCB believes that through J/Secure™,
JCB is able to provide JCB customers who signed up with the J/Secure
programme greater security in their credit card payments, and enhance
their confidence in card payments for Internet shopping.
In creating an ever-more secure
environment, reducing card fraud and building consumer and merchant
confidence, JCB expects to support an increase in the volume of sales
and transactions over the Internet.

Wiz-ePay 3D-Secure MPI product has been
certified by the VISA International as VISA 3-D Secure™
compliant since December 2002 and by MasterCard International as
MasterCard® SecureCode™
